Dave Thomascouldn,t you host rd 10 of Bristol,s summer series at your place bath?

Graham WattsI would just add that although Bath would be more than happy to offer the track for Rd 10 its not just as simple as turning up to race. Bristol run Wednesday,s so smoothly it looks simple . But they are an amazing team that make it look easy with plenty of hard work going on that is not always noticed. We (Bath) would have needed abit more time and Bristol,s help to run a race. Maybe for abit of variety we could get together and host a Rd of the Bristol Wednesday night series giving novices the chance to race different tracks 😊
Round 10 of the Summer Series 2 racing on Wednesday, 23rd August is CANCELLED. Although an eviction order is being issued to the travellers today by the local Council, there are no guarantees that this will take effect. Therefore, the Committee have decided that in the interest of safety for riders/parents, it is best to cancel this week's racing until further notice (hopefully we can hold the last race meet next week).
We would just like to say "Thank You" to all those who have sent messages of support regarding this matter, they have been very much appreciated. ... See MoreSee Less
Matt EatonSuch a shame to cancel because of antisocial and selfish behavior of others. The fact that they've set up camp there is a non-issue to me; it's just their behavior that's a problem in this case.
Michelle FryerWhere we live we held a peacful protest of over 200 people with lots of police presence n the left later that night. Should try this if they haven't gone by next week.

Lisa WatsonWe had travellers on our site a little while back, they know exactly what they can get away with & they normally leave after a couple of weeks, they always have children or a pregnant women with them, so the council have to act in the interests of the kids & pregnant women! They know the system & how to work it!!
***Access to the Site***
Please note access to the camp site will open at 10.00 on Friday 25th August. Please do not try to enter before then or you will be asked to leave. Do not park on the access road prior to the gates opening, if you are arriving early please park up away from the site. NO THURSDAY EVENING OVERNIGHT PARKING ON SITE OR ON THE ACCESS ROAD.

Stewarding and Traffic Management is being handled by Stadium TM a company experienced in managing large events, alongside our club volunteers. We expect all our stewards and helpers to be treated with respect during your time on our site.
Motorhomes and Large Vehicles
All campers will be in one field this year, however, motorhomes will be asked to pitch in specific areas at the edge of the field to reduce the damage to the football pitch areas and ensure easy access on and off the site. Please follow the instructions given by our stewards on arrival at the site.
As you can imagine we get asked lots of questions many times over!! All the info we have has been published online on our FB page, Club Website or is available on the Technical Guide.
Thank you for your understanding.

What an absolutely incredible achievement for Bristol BMX Club! To finish 6th in the 2017 National Series Club Standings, we look at all those with National standard tracks above us....and below!! Yet, it's not just about the facility (although there is no other committee working harder on Bristol's behalf by importuning certain governing bodies to implement a reward in this regard - our riders so deserve it).
Yes, Bristol has talent, that goes without saying. But the support, encouragement and friendship between riders and their families play a huge part in the Club's success.
29 riders participated. 2 x National Champions, 8 podiums and 19 riders finishing top 18. Now that's what we call a "result".

Nationals are tough, but the above achievements prove the hard work was applied to cope with the high standard of skill and speed required at this level of racing. A huge well done to all our National riders. We are also proud to have 5 Welsh Champions who are members of Bristol and raced superbly at Llynfi track a few weeks ago. Congratulations go to:-
