This is one you will not want to miss! (This is NOT part of the Bristol Winter Seres)
ALL RIDERS ARE WELCOME.
How many of you (or even your kids) will be itching to try out that new two-wheeled Xmas present. Well, here’s the perfect opportunity! A fun day in store for some great racing and a BMX family friendly get together. Plus, Raffle Prizes, including donations from Crucial, Rocker, Danco & Pyskopath Industries, that will have you purchasing a ticket or two. Guaranteed!!
Fantastic news for those riders who hold a license and wish to boost their ranking – British Cycling will now be awarding Regional ‘C’ points for this round. This is applicable across all age groups, but not the 6 and unders due to the BC 2016 rule changes.
This is also a fabulous opportunity for club/novice riders to experience a taste of racing at a regional event. Especially advantageous if you are thinking of making the transition from “Novice” to “Expert” next year.

Pre-registration closes midnight Wednesday the week before each round.
We will be running with 2016 age groups* (age between 1/01/2016 – 31/12/2016).
Results will be published two days prior to submission to BC on the Deep South page. It is a rider’s responsibility to check the information in a timely manner.
Any queries should be made to a rider’s club in the first instance and escalated (by the club rep) if deemed appropriate.
LICENCE NUMBERS – if you do not have a licence please leave this section blank on registration. You only need a BC licence if you want to receive National ranking points.
Cat C regional points will be awarded when license numbers are added from the first round entered. Points cannot be added retrospectively.
NOVICE/EXPERT – as this is an inter-club level series there is no distinction, both levels will race together in each age category.
To achieve an overall result and a possible trophy/medal you will need to compete in a min of 4 rounds in the same category.
Where there are less than 4 riders categories may be combined however your points will revert to the original registered class.
There will be trophies for the top 8 in each category for the overall series results (subject to qualification)
Standard BC rules apply eg: clips 13+, no go-pros etc.
It is unlikely we will be able to use the field opposite the track due to it being too wet (we will notify you nearer the date if this should change). Alternative arrangements have been made to use the nearby Broadcom Car Park, Post Code – BS32 4SR. There will be a parking charge of £3 per vehicle. Attendants will be on hand to supervise parking.
Please have fun and remember we are all volunteers trying to keep kids on bikes no matter what their age!
